Dr. Hadi Jalali is an experienced mechanical engineer and scholar with experience working in oil & gas and aerospace. He completed his PhD in the area of multi- physics modelling and simulation and structural dynamics at Memorial University of Newfoundland with applications to cable structures. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow and team leader in Sys-MoDEL in Vehicle Dynamics and Control in partnership with our industrial collaborator, Potential Motors.

Mackenzie is the master’s candidate working on the control system design and implementation of Drive-by-Wire vehicle systems, in partnership with Potential Motors. He is an avid lacrosse player and a LGBTQ+ Advocate.

Atharva Jamdade is a fourth year student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and is a member of Team Abhiyaan, competing in Intelligent Ground Vehicle Challenge at Oakland University. Atharva came to Sys-MoDEL via the Mitacs Globalink program and focused on performing system identification and validation of our novel All-Wheel-Drive, All- Wheel-Steering scaled prototype.

Simon is an undergraduate mechanical engineering student at UNB who is passionate about mechanical design and the automotive industry. He is currently working on the Quarter car and Test Jig capstone project with Sys-MoDEL.

Daniel Smal is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick. Daniel is currently a member of the senior design team working on the Quarter Car and Test Jig project.

Philippe is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship (DTME) at the University of New Brunswick. He is currently working on the Quarter Car and Test Jig capstone project in partnership with Sys-MoDEL.
